Do you look after your sole mate?
Better foot health starts with footwear and spending time without shoes. The effects shoes have had on our feet have got us to invent things like orthotics, stability or motion control shoes. Whilst these can help treat symptoms in the short term the actual problem is not being addressed.
If we can rethink the way we make footwear and look at wearing shoes that are based on our biology ie; a toe box wide enough to allow toes to spread, flexible soles for foot movement and no lift in the heel.
We suggest; daily rolling feet over a golf or tennis ball for tight foot soles and joints, slowly increasing the amount of time spent barefoot each day and on a variety of surfaces and last but not least regular massage which includes the hips, calves and feet.
