Why Do You Wake Several Times During The Night When You're Pregnant?

Insomnia can be a common challenge at the beginning of pregnancy and may persist throughout. In the early stages, it may arise from increased progesterone levels, leading to changes in your body that result in daytime drowsiness, a desire to nap, and a tendency to be wide awake at bedtime.

Insomnia is a sleep disorder that disrupts your regular sleeping pattern, presenting in two categories: the inability to stay and fall asleep. Some individuals struggle with both aspects, experiencing multiple awakenings throughout the night.

Certain physical discomforts like back pain, frequent urination, and feelings of nausea can further complicate sleep patterns. Insomnia can also contribute to heightened feelings of anxiety and depression.
