How Do Acupuncture and Breathwork Help With Sperm Health and Erectile Dysfunction

Here are some fun facts about male health to begin with…

Did you know it takes about 64 days to generate new sperm?

Each testicle will produce millions of sperm per day.

Every second that passes, 1500 sperm are born.

Stress plays a big role in a person’s reproductive health.

So How Does Acupuncture, Herbal medicine and Breathwork help

Erectile Dysfunction and the quality of sperm reserves change with high-stress levels and poor sleep.

Snoring and sleep apnea cause issues with sexual performance too as it blocks the airflow which changes the way the body receives oxygen and hinders blood flow and organ performance.

Combining breathwork with acupuncture aids in reducing stress, helping to increase sex drive and strengthening the Kidney,  which is associated with sexual performance and drive in Chinese medicine.

Acupuncture aids blood flow and energy throughout the body, working with low sperm count, morphology and the motility (the ability to move and get around) of sperm.

The prostate can enlarge from age 40 onwards, causing issues; herbal medicine and acupuncture can aid with inflammation and urinary flow issues.

If there is testicular pain or swelling of the testicles,  Chinese medicine associates this blockage with the Liver and flow to the pelvic area.  We use acupuncture to aid with reducing the swelling and pain.

Pain with urination is also addressed with acupuncture to reduce heat or infection, which may help to alleviate pain and change circulation to the area.
