FAQs
CAN I CLAIM USING MY PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE?
Yes. When you have completed your appointment, we process your claim on the spot. We can also email you the receipt for you to claim. If you have purchased a discounted Care Package or Gift voucher, we send you an individual receipt after each appointment so that you can claim through your private health care.
DO WE OFFER GIFT AND TREATMENT PACKAGES?
Yes. If you would like to purchase a Gift Package, this can be done for the specified amount and added as a credit towards treatment or products for the receiver. It can be used with any of our practitioners within the clinic. The receiver can claim their treatment after each session if they have private health care. The Gift Voucher is redeemable within 24 months of purchase.
HOW DO WE LOOK AFTER YOU?
BSHS is a general health practice and we treat everything from anxiety to all pain conditions, looking after your physical, mental and emotional health. We treat everyone, from infants to the elderly, prenatal to postnatal and those who may just need a general boost to their day!
CAN I RESCHEDULE MY APPOINTMENT?
Yes. You can call the clinic or text via 0455 500 117 to reschedule or cancel your appointment. You can also go into the email you received to confirm your appointment and change or cancel from there. A full cancellation fee is charged if the appointment is cancelled within 24 hours. There is no fee when cancelled more than 24 hours in advance. Appointments rescheduled in this time frame may also result in a fee charge. An exception is taken with those going into labour; no fee is charged.
HOW CAN I REACH MY PRACTITIONER?
Each practitioner has a Beattie Street Health email listed on your invoice, or you can call the clinic on 0455500117, and we will get the practitioner to contact you directly. Melinda Webb, the owner, is available if you have any questions at mel@beattiestreet.health
WHAT TO DO ON YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT?
For all first-time appointments, please arrive 5 minutes early; please communicate with us if you running late. We also suggest wearing comfortable clothing that is easy to remove if required. Bring any blood or test results relevant to your appointment. Each practitioner has their own intake and consent form that must be filled out before the initial appointment. If you are having acupuncture, we ask you to eat something light before your treatment, not a big meal, as having acupuncture on an empty stomach isn't great.
