Helping you reconnect with yourself through compassionate, evidence informed therapy.

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. Stress, anxiety, trauma, grief, chronic illness or persistent pain can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves, our relationships and the life we want to live.

Sarah Lal is a trauma-informed Psychotherapist, Counsellor and Somatic Therapist who supports people in understanding not only what they are experiencing, but why. Through a gentle, collaborative approach, Sarah helps clients develop greater emotional awareness, regulate their nervous system and build the confidence to move forward with resilience and self-compassion.

With a unique background in both psychotherapy and osteopathy, Sarah brings a deep understanding of the relationship between the mind, body and nervous system. Her work recognises that our experiences are often held not only in our thoughts, but also within our bodies, and that healing can occur when we begin to listen to both.

Whether you are navigating a difficult life transition, recovering from trauma, living with chronic pain or simply wanting to understand yourself more deeply, Sarah provides a calm and supportive space where meaningful change can unfold.

Sarah's Approach

Sarah believes that healing begins with feeling safe, heard and understood.

Rather than viewing emotional distress or physical symptoms as something to simply fix, she sees them as important messages from the nervous system, signals that deserve curiosity, compassion and care.

Every person's story is different, which is why therapy is never a one-size-fits-all approach. Sarah works alongside each client to understand their experiences, identify patterns that may no longer be serving them and develop practical strategies that foster emotional wellbeing and lasting change.

Her goal is to help clients build a stronger relationship with themselves, creating greater resilience, emotional balance and a renewed sense of possibility.

Sarah's professional training includes:

  • Master of Counselling & Psychotherapy

  • Master of Osteopathy

  • Registered Clinical Psychotherapist with PACFA (Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia)

  • Craniosacral Osteopathic Training

  • Balanced Ligamentous Tension Training

  • Trigger Point Dry Needling Certification

  • Postgraduate training in breast cancer rehabilitation and recovery

  • Training in Domestic and Family Violence Recognition and Response

  • Suicide Awareness First Aid

Sarah is committed to ongoing professional development and continues to expand her knowledge in trauma-informed care, nervous system regulation, chronic pain, mind-body health and contemporary psychotherapy.
