Step out of the week and into stillness.
Join Charlie Foust (Doctor of Chinese Medicine) and Emmalene Sliwka (Sound by Emmalene) for a one-hour collaborative session where ancient Chinese medicine meets the immersive power of sound vibrations.
Just bring yourself, lie back and receive as Emmalene holds space with crystal singing bowls and gentle sound frequencies, while Charlie places a small number of acupuncture pins to guide your nervous system into deep rest. No effort, no doing — just an hour to unwind, soften, and let your body remember its natural state of balance.
A small-group offering in the calm of Beattie Street Health Studio, located on Level 1.
Suitable for all, including those new to acupuncture or sound healing.
Meet Charlie Foust
Charlie is a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncturist with a passion for creating spaces where people can truly slow down, breathe deeply and reconnect with themselves. Her gentle approach to acupuncture supports the nervous system to shift out of stress and into a state of deep rest, allowing the body to do what it is designed to do, restore, regulate and heal.
For this collaboration with Emmalene, Charlie weaves together the ancient wisdom of Chinese medicine with the immersive experience of sound healing. As the crystal singing bowls fill the room with soothing frequencies, Charlie gently places a small number of acupuncture needles selected to calm the mind, regulate the nervous system and encourage the body's natural healing response. The combination creates an experience that is often deeper than either modality alone.
